When you think of the Netherlands, the first things that come to mind are windmills, tulips, and… cheese! The Old Mill’s exceptional artisan cheese has been produced in the Netherlands for generations.

The authentic recipe for our cheese has been passed down from generation to generation. We guarantee real craftsmanship, aging our cheese on wooden boards in ideal conditions – just like it’s always been done. At The Old Mill, we are dedicated to carrying on good traditions.

The youngest of the family, but with its own unique character. This delicious, slightly matured cheese is creamy, full of flavor, and easy to cut thanks to its smoothness. An artisan cheese with a soft taste that pairs well with a big lunch or drinks, or as an addition to various dishes.

The medium-ripe Old Mill has a refined, spicy taste that our cheese masters are rightfully proud of. While salt and protein crystals become visible over time, the cheese remains easy to cut. This cheese is especially suitable for cooking and can be used as a finishing touch for a variety of dishes or as a valuable addition to any cheese platter.

Extra
aged

The extra-mature Old Mill is wonderfully crumbly thanks to a loss of moisture during extended ripening and offers a strong taste with a spicy bite. Unique in its blend of creaminess and saltiness, this high-quality cheese has a deep yellow color almost resembling gold. A cheese for connoisseurs!

Superior
aged

The king of cheeses, this highly-matured Old Mill is truly magical after 36 months of ripening. Patience is a virtue, and this superior crumbly cheese packed with maturing crystals is well worth the wait. Take the time to savor the deep, rich taste of this excellent cheese.
